As many of you know, I am a financial advisor and manage money for tax exempt organizations and family groups. In my day job, my passion is money and the markets.  It turns out that many of the issues investors need to worry about in maximizing their assets are the same as what we “Broads” need to worry about in growing our capital and driving our revenue.
Think about it… what are the three things you know about good investing?

  1. Good investors Diversify!  Diversify yourself.  Build yourself in the business community outside your workplace.  Your increased value in the business community will result in greater revenue at your workplace.  Get out of the walls, to rise within the walls.  Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.
  2. Good investors manage risk!  Mange your risk – which means don’t take too much risk and don’t take too little.  Stretch outside of your comfort zone in an educated, calculated manner or you will never get the upside.  Study your risks and figure out where you can afford to take some, so that you can improve your long term performance.
  3. Good Investors don’t put their head in the sand!  Don’t put your Money and Power strategy on passive autopilot.  Define your long term strategy, maybe even write it down (in a career policy statement), and clearly communicate your VISION and MISSION to all that you meet.  If you don’t know where you are going, how will you get there?

So, my advice to you is, Capitalize on the opportunities presented to you, set up your strategy, get a second opinion, refine your moves, and go for the GOLD.  Come out and do some Power Networking with Broads Circle!!!  Let’s ROLL!!!
To your success,
